Bed of Thorns
Claret cup cactus, when seeing a large group in bloom together become almost impenetrable and the flowers seem to just float on the top. This painting was done early on, but I still love it and it hangs on the wall in my livingroom, I love the depth and seeing the actual cactus bases through the needles.
